Database Area Code Conversion Utility
For Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows NT and Windows 2000.

Product Description: In 1997 and 1998, there were 21 new area codes added in the United States, and existing area codes were split. Since then, additional area codes have been added, but existing customers were not affected. For all intents and purposes, this application is now obsolete (unless you have some VERY OLD data to convert), but the methods used and actual area code data may be of interest. It is installed as an outside application and attaches any Microsoft Access database under user control.

The user can select the Database table and field to be converted. Multiple fields require multiple passes. The targeted Area code must be part of the field.

Select the new area code to implement. The current list of 21 available area codes is shown below.

The original package included the Microsoft Access runtime engine.

Users can easily add their own area code tables.
